#drowninginlove is one of those project that really pushed our limits with producing —from various locations such Melbourne Aquarium (where lighting wasn’t an option), the sport center, fake bus stop, a giant swimming pool, the car accident…. Speaking of water and swimming pool: Pools have almost become our old friends by now—starting from Moonlit Romance in early 2024, where we first attempted putting the camera and our DOP in the water, all the way to our last project of the year in 2024. Seems like we have quite a bond with water isn’t it? Kino has been working in the entertainment industry since he was just 1 year old (yup, he’s a COVID baby, born in 2020!). From commercial modeling for pet products (Aussie friends, you might recognize him on Kmart packaging!) to starring as the emotional rock of our creative process, Kino does it all. Whether it’s boosting morale during intense writing sessions, giving thoughtful feedback in post-production (his approving purrs are legendary), or just being his adorable self on set, Kino has made a lasting mark on every stage of our storytelling.
